iBowlStats App Reviews

Use it every week

Very handy way to track my season and immediately see my average. Easy to use. I bowl duckpins so I dont use some of the features but this is everything I need.

Great app

Using for two years now! Does everything it says. Has helped me improve my overall game as well.

Initial Review

Apology if this is a second post. First one just disapeared. I hand transfered games from a score sheet in to this app. The stat graphs are confusing and here is an example. The Y axis is labled, "# Times". The X axis is labled, "Opens". It shows three green bars over the 4, 5 and 6 opens. I had to review the score sheets to determine that the "# Times" axis is the "# Games". It really should have been labeled that way and it would have been very obvious to the user. The next problem I encountered appears to be a BUG. The stat was for "Spares Per Game". It indicated that I had one spare in one game. When I verified it against the score sheet, I had no games that had a single spare. It appears that in a game where I had two spares, it did not count the spare on the very last ball of the game. Instead of counting two spares, it only counted one. I like the app. I think some of the labeling needs to be make more intuitive and the stat calculations need to have more testing done and the bug corrected. Hopefully this gets done and then I would give it a better rating. Because of the way I entered the scores by hand off of score sheets, I am not able to actually look at the other stats to see if they are accurate.

Switches to left handed

Ive been using this app for a few years and in general think it is great. Recently it started switching to a left handed setup every time I close the app. I have to recent it to right handed when I open it back up. I tried to send feedback to the developer, but it wouldnt go through, so Im posting here in hope it helps.
